There’ll be much more than a trim and tidy on offer this November as professional hairstylists and barbers gather at the first ever Hairfest.

Launched by Adee Phelan, the man who created David Beckham’s iconic World Cup Mohawk style, and multi award winning hair dresser, and winner of E4’s Great British Hairdresser Keris Weir from Lurgan, the one-day only event will take place on Sunday 19th November 2017 at South13, Boucher Road Belfast.

International professionals at the top of their game will share their knowledge across an interactive and engaging day that will give guests the chance to discover new brands, network with other professionals and learn from the best in the business.

Designed to arm the hair industry with all they need to deliver for their clients during the busy festive season, Hairfest is the brainchild of local barbers and manufacturers of premium hair scissors for the hairdressing and barbering industry Dan Wild and Andrew Mearns.

“We’ve brought together a roster of expert professionals who are at the top of their game. From Adee who changed the game with his products and celebrity styling, to award-winning barbers, colourists and some of the most creative thinkers in the industry today, this is a day not to be missed,” said Dan.

“Professionals will leave reinvigorated and armed with the inspiration and knowledge to deliver cutting-edge styles for their clients.”

A jam-packed day will include the first on stage performance in Ireland from a creative Adee Phelan who specialises in high fashion looks and editorial work.

Top industry educator Steve Turner will share insights from over 30 years in the business while Keris Weir will delve into creative colouring and the hottest extension trends.

The Barber panel led by Cork based, multi award-winning barber, Paul Mac is one not to be missed with the industry’s leading creative sharing new skills in a relaxed barbershop style atmosphere.

The day will close with a show-stopping after party, where everyone can let their ‘hair down’ in advance of the manic festive season for industry professionals.
